IP protection class description (according to EN60529/IEC529)
The protection level is IP54, IP is the marked letter, the number 5 is the first marked number, 4 is the second marked number, the first marked number indicates the level of contact protection and foreign object protection, and the second marked number indicates the waterproof protection level.

1 | Protection against solid foreign bodies of 50mm diameter and larger | Detector, the sphere is 50mm in diameter, should not enter fully | 1 | Water drop protection | Water droplets falling vertically should not cause damage |
2 | Protection against solid foreign bodies of 12.5mm diameter and larger | Detector, sphere is 12.5mm in diameter, should not enter fully | 2 | When the cabinet is tilted 15 degrees, it protects against water droplets | When the cabinet is tilted at an angle of 15 degrees to any side, water droplets falling vertically should not cause damage |
3 | Protection against solid foreign bodies of 2.5mm diameter and larger | Detector, the sphere is 2.5mm in diameter, should not enter fully | 3 | Protection against splashing water | Water splashing from either side of the vertical at a 60 degree angle should not cause damage |
4 | Protection against solid foreign bodies of 1.0mm diameter and larger | Detector, the sphere is 1.0mm in diameter, should not enter fully | 4 | Protection against water spray | Water jets aimed at the cabinet from every direction should not cause damage |
5 | Protection against dust | It is not possible to completely prevent dust from entering, but the amount of dust entering will not cause harm to the device | 5 | water jet protection | Water jets aimed at the cabinet from every direction should not cause damage |
6 | dust closed | Dust should not enter the cabinet at a low pressure of 20 mbar | 6 | Protection against strong water jets | Strong water jets aimed at the cabinet from every direction should not cause damage |
NOTE: The diameter of the detector should not pass through the hole in the cabinet | 7 | Protection against short-term water immersion | When the cabinet is immersed in water for a short time under standard pressure, there should be no water immersion that can cause damage | ||
8 | Protection against long-term water immersion | Can be immersed in water under specified conditions and should not be immersed in an amount of water that could cause damage |
